FUTURE READY SKILLS

How can we shape an education for every student that engages them deeply in their learning and prepares them for the world beyond school?

Problem Solving

Problem Solving requires one to work through details of a problem to reach a solution.

Description

Problem solving involves:

  • Identifying what the problem is, this could be a series of smaller problems creating a larger problem
  • Generating numerous possible creative, research based or evidence based solutions, these could be easily accomplished simple ideas or completely farfetched. Often the farfetched ideas can stimulate critical and creative thinking that will lead to other solutions
  • Choose and Act on the best possible solution
  • Evaluate the outcome of your choice and begin the process again if necessary
